The adult butterflies of this species are green with a rusty-red border, and have a dark spot near the middle of each forewing. The moths have a wingspan of about 2 cms.

The species occurs in the oriental tropics, including :

  • Borneo,
  • Norfolk Island,
  • Taiwan,

    and in Australia in:

  • Queensland.
