Female
The female adult moth of this species is brown, with an irregular white band across each fore wing. In life the wing margins and feet are golden, but the colour fades in museum specimens.

The male just has a brown pattern on the forewings. The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

Our specimen was caught in Bundaberg, Queensland.
