The adult moths of this species are pale brown, with plain hindwings, and with various darker spots and arcs on the basal half of each forewing, A group of three dark brown spots are evident in an arc halfway along the inner margin of each forewing. The wings very easily lose their scales. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species occurs in Queensland.
