This Caterpillar has stripes of various shades of brown running from on its head to its tail. It grows to a length of about 3 cms. This specimen was found in Sydney on :

  • Spearmint ( Mentha spicata, LAMIACEAE ).

    The adult moth has boring uniform fawn coloured forewings, off-white hindwings, and a narrow dark ruffle behind the head. The moth has a wingspan of about 3 cms.
