The adult moths of this species have spotty brown forewings, each with a double pale spot near the middle. The hindwings and abdomen are brown, and the thorax is white and hairy.

The species occurs in the east of Australia, including

  • Australian Capital Territory,
  • New South Wales,
  • Queensland, and
  • Victoria.
