The Caterpillar of this species is green with a darker dorsal line. It has a humped appearance, and two small yellow spikes on its tail. It is known to feed on
all of ANNONACEAE.

The wings of the adults are black with pale green spots and patches, and have a span of about 7 cms. The underside is similar, except that the underside of each hind wing has some red spots.

The species occurs over parts of Indonesia, New Guinea, and the north-east coast of Australia.
