This Caterpillar is a cosmopolitan pest on various beans ( FABACEAE ) such as:
It feeds on the beans inside the pod. The Caterpillar is pink with a brown head.

The adult moth is brown with a yellow costa to each forewing. Its pheromones have been elucidated.
Although found elsewhere, for example
so far, it is found only in Queensland in Australia.
