This Caterpillar was found in Sydney in a curled leaf of a:

  • Gum Tree ( Eucalyptus, MYRTACEAE ).

    The Caterpillar was rather knobbly. It was buff coloured with a yellow thorax, a dark brown head and terminal segment, and a dark dorsalline. It lived in a curled leaf of its food plant joined with silk. It grew to a length of about 2 cms.
