These Caterpillars are green with black and white spots along each side. It has been found feeding on :

  • Star Cluster ( Pentas lanceolata, RUBIACEAE ).

    The pupa is silvery brown, with a row of black spots along each side

    The adult moths have striped brown forewings and hindwings that are red with dark margins. The wingspan is about 6 cms.

    The species is found from India to the Solomon Islands, including :

  • Borneo,
  • Hawaii,
  • New Guinea,
  • the Philippines, and
  • Queensland in Australia.
